Terms of Service

Last updated: February 9, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using PideTu, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. PideTu is a technology platform that facilitates ordering and payments between consumers and restaurants.

2. Payments, Taxes, and Fees

Prices shown are in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to the Puerto Rico Sales and Use Tax (IVU) (11.5% or as applicable by law). Payments are processed through third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal, ATH Móvil). By placing an order, you authorize the total charge, including tips and applicable service fees.

3. Refunds and Cancellations Policy

In accordance with DACO regulations, each restaurant is responsible for establishing its own refund and cancellation policy. PideTu does not process refunds directly. Any claims regarding food quality or order errors must be directed directly to the participating restaurant.

4. User Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided (including food allergies reported in notes) and for maintaining the security of your device. Misuse of QR codes or the platform may result in suspension of access.

5. Limitation of Liability

PideTu does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by Puerto Rico laws, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental damages, or the quality of products supplied by restaurants.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Any dispute related to these terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Puerto Rico.

These Terms of Service comply with the provisions of the Electronic Transactions Act and the regulations of the Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO).
